An intention of creating awareness about menstrual hygiene amongst young girls and women residing in slums.
“The change begins with you.” An initiative which aims to spread awareness around Menstrual hygiene and to even period poverty and stopping the pace of increasing infections and diseases caused because of poor sanitation and hygiene during menstrual periods.
Awareness and impact needs a dedicated effort. Providing Sanitary pads to the girls in the slum throughout the year and to address the stigma around the use of the same needs constant monitoring.
